Real Arcade Game Review by Jeff Parsons

I’ve been playing at another very popular site for a long time, and have gotten used to not expecting much from the internet. When I went to the Real Arcade website, I was surprised by what was there. Wow! I was impressed! I bookmarked this site.

The one thing that stands out immediately is the screen setup and usage. It’s very easy on the eyes. I think that the owners of RealPlayer know a thing or two about what works and what doesn’t when it comes to media presentation. It’s also easy to find the games you’d like. Overall, it looks simple, accessible and professional.

Aside from the great visual impression, I felt reassured by quickly understanding what it would take to use these games. If I don’t get that message quickly, I tend to think that I may have missed something important (like a hidden cost) or that they’re trying to pull the wool over my eyes. For this website, there was no guesswork about what to do. I really appreciate that.

The cost per game is $19.99, a typical internet price. However, with their Game Pass membership, you can get a free game every month and a game discount of 25-75%. All for $9.95 a month. I think that’s a good deal.

You can try out the games in a free download or buy the full version. They also show you how much you’d save if you had the Game Pass.

The main game categories are Featured Games, Top Ten Games, New Games, Top Online Games and Top Cash Games. They are all laid out very well on one screen.

The Online Games are Puzzle, Word, Mahjong, Arcade, Action, Sports, Card, Casino, Kids Favorites, Cash Games, All Online Games and Top Online Games. Other sections included Newest Online Games, Top Online Games and Top Cash Games. I like the Kids Favorites. It’s a nice timesaver for parents.

The Download Games are Puzzle, Mahjong, Arcade, New Games, Word, Sports, Kids Favorites, Racing/ Flying, Casino, Strategy/ Sim, Card, Action/ Adventure, Jigsaw and Board.
The Cash Games are Puzzle Games, Strategy Games, Action Games, Sports Games, Word Games, Top Games and Big Jackpots.

They say that they have over 550 games. They’re better quality games than on many other websites. They also had some full-scale release games at low prices. I like that.

The loading of the screens is very smooth, but the website is related to Real Player, so no wonder.

The game descriptions are great. They also give three screen shots.

There aren’t many ads, which is nice, especially for someone who can’t put many demands on their computer.

There are some hardcore games, so I’d say this website would appeal to both amateur and hardcore players. I think this website is slick, quick and will do the trick.
